Where FloQast is strong

  • One platform for the close checklist, reconciliations, journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Close agents built from a plain-language description, with an accountant's sign-off before they run.
  • SOX scoping, controls and testing in the same platform the close runs on.
  • A wide integration list across ERPs, banks, spend tools, file storage and payroll.

Which one fits your team

Choose FloQast if

  • Your main goal is a faster, more organized month-end close.
  • You want SOX documentation and testing in the same tool as the close.
  • Your controls testing works from test sheets and attached evidence.

Choose IRAME if

  • You want each control tested on every transaction from SAP, Oracle or NetSuite data.
  • Internal audit and controllership need the same tested controls and the same exceptions list.
  • You need it to run in your own cloud tenancy or on-premise.

Questions about IRAME and FloQast

Is FloQast a close tool or a SOX tool?

IRAME's review of FloQast's public pages found both. FloQast describes close management, close AI agents and a risk and compliance product. The compliance product covers SOX scoping, controls and testing, audit readiness and operational audits.

Does FloQast test every transaction?

IRAME tests each control on every transaction. FloQast's Detect page says it applies rules to every GL transaction and period and flags anomalies as they post. Its financial controls page describes AI taking a first pass on attribute testing. The pages we checked do not say whether control tests cover full populations.

Can IRAME and FloQast run together?

Yes. FloQast runs the checklist and reconciliations; IRA tests the controls on every transaction, routes exceptions to owners in Action Hub and keeps evidence an external auditor can re-perform.
